Book a mental health assessment
Our 30-minute telephone assessments cost £60 and can help you understand your mental health needs and find the best way forward.
Is a Nuffield Health mental health assessment right for you?
Our self-referral service is suitable for people who are experiencing mild to moderate commonly experienced Mental Health difficulties. Please note, it is not a crisis service, and all assessments will be conducted in English.
If you or someone you know is at immediate risk or harm, please call 999 or visit your nearest Accident and Emergency department.
Alternatively, if you are in crisis and need urgent support, please use one of the following services:
Please note, if you are experiencing significant difficulties with alcohol or substance abuse, or difficulties with eating, please contact your GP or NHS to discuss specialised support.
What to expect from your assessment
Your assessment will be a call which will last approximately 30 minutes. A therapist will help you understand your problems and give you time to explore your concerns and answer any questions you have.
If further therapy is required, we will discuss with you what approach is right for you to enable you to feel better.
Next steps
After the session, we will send you a report that will cover the background, development and severity of your area of concern, plus an outline of the approach that will get you the best results.
We also know your physical health is linked to your mental health, so you will receive a free one-month membership to one of our Health & Wellbeing Clubs when you start treatment with us.
