Kay Miyake
Kay is a Wellbeing Personal Trainer Nuffield Health's Leeds Fitness and Wellbeing Centre. She is passionate about helping others improve their health and fitness in a way that is enjoyable, sustainable and realistic - paying particular attention to coaching good exercise technique, and helping clients move well so they feel good in their everyday life and in their hobbies/sports.
For fitness enthusiasts, the summer can be a challenging time. Whilst it's important to keep active during these months, doing so in the face of soaring temperatures can be uncomfortable and even dangerous. With temperatures seemingly rising year on year it’s important to adjust the way we do exercise to make sure we train safely and effectively during a heatwave.
