Nuffield Health open new medical clinic at Birmingham gym

The £700,000 investment took two months to build and is Nuffield Health’s 28th medical clinic to open within one of its 77 gyms across the UK. The new clinic continues the not-for-profit healthcare organisation’s vision to deliver connected health and wellbeing services, helping people get healthy and stay healthy.
Available to members and non-members, local residents can book physiotherapy appointments without referral from their doctor and receive a Health Assessment, which gives a detailed view of a person’s health covering key concerns such as diabetes, cancer risk, heart health and emotional wellbeing. For those customers undertaking Health Assessments, an onsite laboratory has also been added to analyse key tests such as blood tests which give immediate results.

Not only does it show Nuffield Health’s commitment to our Birmingham Club but it will also provide fantastic facilities and services to the local community.”
The medical clinic opening now complements existing services at the
Nuffield Health Birmingham Central Fitness and Wellbeing gym which opened in 2001
and features a 20 metre swimming pool, relaxation spa, sauna and steam room, spin
studio, gym which includes functional training, boxing, TRX and kettlebell zones
and over 100 fitness classes every week.
