Six times World Champion relaunches Nuffield Health City Gym
- Overview
The event will include a selection of gym based challenges, introductions to new group exercise classes, free drop in sessions with health and wellbeing experts and an evening launch reception with former World Kayak Champion Anna Hemmings, MBE.
The event follows an extensive redevelopment of Nuffield Health's flagship gym. The significant investment in the new look gym offers upgraded technology, equipment and expertise to give members a first class facility.
On the evening of 16 September, Anna will meet members and guests to discuss "Resilience and Performance", examining their impact both in the work place and in competitive sports. She will also be speaking about how she overcame stress during her career and host a Q&A for the attendee.
The expansion of the gym to over 80,000 square feet makes it the largest facility in the city, where members will be the first in the UK to experience the premium Life Fitness Insignia Series equipment. Other major improvements to the gym floor include state of the art Watt bikes and Athletic Zones with plyometric training equipment.
