Wellbeing services achieve ISO 9001 certification
- Overview
ISO 9001 is the world's most widely recognised Quality Management System (QMS), helping businesses to continually monitor and manage quality across all its operations as well as achieve and benchmark consistent performance and service.
Nuffield Health Wellbeing Contracted Services has now joined an illustrious list of other top businesses to receive this certification and the assessors were impressed at the high level of quality given in the physiotherapy services and Health Assessments delivered at Nuffield Health’s 77 Fitness and Wellbeing gyms across the UK.
Nuffield Health was measured against its senior management’s commitment to quality, its customer focus, adequacy of its resources, employee competence, process management, quality planning, monitoring and measurement of its processes and products and processes to resolve customer complaints.
Dr Andy Jones, Chief Operating Officer comments: "Ensuring quality in innovation and the service we provide is paramount and is at the heart of everything we do. Achieving certification to this international standard gives assurance to our customers of our continued commitment to quality.”
Janet Hornsby, Client Manager at BSI said: “Nuffield Health showed a commendable level of consistency across its physiotherapy, health assessments and corporate fitness, considering the number of sites, people and processes involved. This demonstrates that the system is working really well and the organisation is committed to the quality of its services.”
Further to being awarded ISO 9001 Nuffield Health has decided to join the BSI Partners in Excellence programme. The programme is designed specifically for clients who are committed to continual improvement and will enable Nuffield Health to streamline certification processes, further promote best practice and maintain high standards across the business.
Janet continues: “We are delighted that Nuffield Health has made the decision to join the BSI Partners in Excellence programme. This further demonstrates their commitment to continual improvement, over and above meeting certification requirements and we’re looking forward to working closely with them in the future.”
