Confidence (self esteem)
Confidence (or self esteem) is your belief in yourself and your abilities. Positive or healthy self esteem allows you to cope with the negative aspects of life with no major impact on the future.
However, some people focus more on the negative aspects of their life or on mistakes they may have made in the past. Experiences in your childhood, problems with relationships and stresses of everyday living can impact your confidence.
