About
Dr Ajay Mehta is a consultant in clinical oncology at the Royal Surrey County Hospital. He specialises in the treatment of lung, oesophagus and stomach cancers.
He has expertise in immunotherapy, targeted therapies and combination chemotherapy and is also proficient in advanced radiotherapy techniques including SABR, IMRT and IGRT.
He is actively involved in research and is the PI for several national and international trials.
He is radiotherapy lead for the department and an examiner for radiotherapy postgraduate exams.
He has a BSc in pathology and a diploma in medical ethics.
