About
Dr Beaton studied medicine at Cambridge University and Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. She trained in paediatrics in hospitals across London and Cambridge and was appointed as a consultant at Kingston Hospital in general paediatrics and neonatology in 2006. She is the Clinical Director for paediatric and neonatal services, obstetrics and gynaecology, breast surgery and genito-urinary medicine at Kingston Hospital. As well as her clinical and managerial roles at Kingston Hospital, she is a clinical and educational supervisor for Foundation year doctors and a consultant appraiser.
She is a neonatal life support instructor (NLS) and teaches on courses across the UK and internationally
