About

Dr Nicolaou qualified in Medicine from King's College Hospital. He completed his training in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine at Guys and St.Thomas’s Hospitals. Dr Nicolaou was appointed as a Consultant at St Georges Hospital and has practised here for more than 20 years. He has also held positions of, Regional Advisor in Pain Medicine at the Royal College of Anaesthetists for 3 terms, Ex-officio British Pain Society Board Member, Ex-officio Faculty of Pain Medicine Board Member and Ex-officio Faculty of Pain Medicine Professional Standards Committee.

Dr Nicolaou only sees adults.

Special interests

Spine and musculoskeletal pain, neuropathic pain, image-guided interventions including ultrasound.

Other interests

Pain training and education. Examiner for the FFPMRCA post graduate examination since 2010.
