Dr Catherine Fardon

Dr Catherine Fardon is a highly experienced GP who has worked as an NHS GP Partner in North Islington for over 11 years. She now works in both the NHS and in the private sector.

She has a specialist interest in Lifestyle Medicine and is passionate about empowering patients to make evidence-based lifestyle changes to reduce risk factors for long-term chronic disease. Catherine is also undertaking training in the evolving science of the gut microbiome and its pivotal role in health.

She completed her undergraduate training in 2004 at University College London and after five years of Postgraduate training in both Primary and Secondary care, became a member of The Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). Throughout her time in the NHS, Dr Fardon has been a generalist, caring for patients from birth through to old age. She gained The Diploma of Lifestyle Medicine through the BSLM in December 2022 and has also been awarded Level 1 PCI Health and Well Being Coaching Accreditation. She is GMC registered and was successfully revalidated in December 2023.

She is focused on collaborating with patients to build and understand positive dietary and lifestyle changes for optimal well-being.

Catherine is a mother of two girls and being a North London resident is also an Arsenal fan, maintaining a keen interest in sport and healthy lifestyle choices.
