About
Dr Patton is a GP with further specialist training in women’s health, particularly menopause care and sexual health. As well as having a particular interest in the management of menopause, Dr Patton has interests in PCOS, premenstrual disorders and psychosexual medicine.
Dr Patton trained in the North East, qualifying from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 2011. She initially commenced training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and then changed to GP training. Dr Patton moved to Cornwall in 2021 with her family.
Dr Patton is a member of the St Erme Medical team, led by Dr Sarah Gray. She continues to work in the NHS as a GP in Cornwall. Dr Patton also provides education at undergraduate level offering a student-selected module to fourth-year medical students at the University of Exeter. She is also an Academic Tutor for medical students at Peninsula Medical School, Plymouth.
Dr Patton provides educational sessions to local businesses and higher education settings on menopause in the workplace and women’s health.
