About
Dr Rudd is a Consultant in
Clinical Neurophysiology based at the Hurstwood Park centre in Haywards Heath.
He graduated in Medicine with distinction in 2006 from the University of
Newcastle upon Tyne. After working for a number of years in Neurology at St Georges’
Hospital he decided to train in Clinical Neurophysiology. He completed his
higher specialist training in at the Royal London Hospital and also spent time
at Great Ormond Street Hospital. He specialises in the diagnosis of
neuromuscular disorders and epilepsy in adults and children. He has experience
in all of the major neurophysiological investigations including EEG, EMG and
evoked potentials.
Special interests
Entrapment neuropathies
(carpal tunnel syndrome, ulnar neuropathy), myopathy, radiculopathy, and motor
neurone disease.
Personal interests
Outside of work, Dr Rudd
enjoys travel, music and computing.
