About

Having graduated from Manchester University Medical School in 1990 Dr Stoner’s gastroenterology training centred around the Royal London Hospital. His MD thesis on Sphincter of Oddi Manometry was awarded by the University of London in 2000. He was appointed Consultant Gastroenterologist at Princess Alexandra Hospital in 2000 and invited to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 2004.

Special interests

Diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy and ERCP. Inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome and capsule endoscopy.
