About

I qualified from the University of Birmingham Medical School and undertook specialist training in the West Midlands and London Deaneries.

I have held a substantive consultant post in gastroenterology at St George's NHS Trust since 2012.

I am the former Endoscopy Training lead and Director of the Bowel Cancer Screening programme for SW London and am currently the Director of Endoscopy at St George's Hospital. I am a JAG-accredited colonoscopist and assessor for the National Bowel Cancer Screening Programme. I co-lead the advanced therapeutic colonoscopy service and co-chair the complex polyp meeting at St George's Hospital.

I run general gastroenterology outpatient clinics, participate in the care of admitted patients on the gastroenterology ward, and am part of the emergency endoscopy rota.

Dr Sadler sees adults only.

Special interests

I am interested in all aspects of luminal gastroenterology, including bowel cancer screening, anaemia, coeliac disease, indigestion/reflux, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and the investigation and management of a range of general gastroenterological symptoms, including diarrhoea, constipation, anaemia, abdominal pain and weight loss.

Personal interests

When not at work, I enjoy playing squash and badminton, mountain biking, and spending time with my wife and two children.
