About

Dr Jacqui Laurie is an experienced consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist having practiced at the Simpson’s Centre for Reproductive Health in Edinburgh since 2017. She graduated with distinction from The University of Edinburgh in 2005 before undertaking specialist postgraduate training in South-East Scotland. She became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2010 and attained a certificate of completion of training in 2016.

Within her NHS practice, Dr Jacqui Laurie is the clinical lead for vulval disorders. She has honorary university status with The University of Edinburgh in recognition of her keen interest in undergraduate medical training. Her nonclinical interest is in patient safety and healthcare quality improvement. She is a fellow of the Scottish Quality and Patient Safety Fellowship though NHS Education Scotland.
