Professor Javed Ahmed is a leading consultant Interventional cardiologist in providing skilled and compassionate care in all areas of cardiology. Professor Ahmed provides care for heart problems in multiple areas, including angina pectoris, coronary heart disease, angioplasty and stenting, hypertension, lipid disorders, heart failure, cardiomyopathies, and arrhythmias etc.

Professor Javed Ahmed has several years of experience in the field of Cardiology and has been a Consultant Cardiologist at Freeman Hospital NHS Trust, Newcastle upon Tyne since 2001.

Professor Javed Ahmed did his advanced fellowship at the world-renowned heart centre in Washington DC, USA. He has also been part of Transcatheter cardiovascular therapeutics (TCT).

 He regularly consults patients presenting with following symptoms and signs and cardiovascular conditions:

  • Chest pain.
  • Shortness of breath.
  • Palpitations.
  • Heart murmurs
  • Dizziness and blackouts.
