About

Dr John Clark is the Clinical Lead in Diabetes and Endocrinology at West Suffolk Hospital.  He has been a Consultant there since 1992.  After qualifying in Glasgow he moved to Addenbrookes as a Diabetes/Endocrine Registrar where he completed his research for his MD on the pituitary gland. After moving to be a  Lecturer in Medicine at Bristol then becoming a Consultant Physician at West Suffolk Hospital.  Dr Clark is also Sub Dean to the Medical Students at the University of Cambridge.

Dr Clark has published over 50 papers in many aspects of Diabetes and Endocrinology. His most recent paper in 2017 was on the Emergency Management of Hypoglycaemia.
