Dr Lilianne Gomez-Lopez

Dr Lilianne Gomez-Lopez is a highly experienced consultant in Paediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition with over 20 years of expertise in managing complex gastrointestinal and nutritional disorders.

She has led innovative programs that have transformed care pathways and improved outcomes for children with chronic gastrointestinal and metabolic conditions.

Dr Gomez-Lopez earned her PhD in Medicine with distinction, focusing on the psychological and social aspects of caregiving for children with neurological diseases requiring gastrostomy feeding. Her extensive international training includes fellowships in Canada, the USA, and France. She also holds a Master’s degree in Bioethics and Law from the University of Barcelona.

She is an active member of professional societies, including ESPGHAN and BSPGHAN, and has contributed to guidelines shaping paediatric gastroenterology and nutrition care. Her work includes publishing extensively in peer-reviewed journals and developing educational materials widely used by healthcare professionals and families.
