About
Mari qualified from the University of Oxford Clinical School in 2000. Her career focus has been the provision of high-quality family medicine as a Partner in a local South Cambridgeshire practice, with a particular interest in women’s health, contraceptive procedures (coils and implants) and paediatrics. She has over 18 years of experience in all aspects of General Practice and health promotion.
Mari undertook GP training in Nottingham with rotations through General Medicine and Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Emergency Medicine, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Dermatology and Skin Surgery. She achieved Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners with Distinction in 2004.
Subsequent postgraduate qualifications include diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Family Planning and Reproductive Healthcare and Child Health, and the AHEA teaching qualification. Mari has extensive management experience in NHS General Practice, having undertaken lead roles within her previous surgery.
Mari’s approach is to offer personalised care in the context of evidence-based medicine in order to achieve the best outcomes for her patients.
