About
Dr Mark Tuthill is a consultant Medical Oncologist who specialises in the medical treatment of early and advanced cancers of the breast, prostate, kidney, and bladder.
He offers patients treatments with immunotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapies (cancer growth inhibitors), hormone based therapies and medicines to control symptoms.
As a cancer specialist, Dr Tuthill’s first priority is to ensure that you receive the most appropriate treatment to get you back to good health as quickly as possible.
Having a diagnosis of cancer can be a highly stressful and difficult time for patients and their families. There is often a wealth of information about cancer treatments that is easily accessible to patients and their relatives on the internet. Often many patients have some knowledge of the treatment that they may be offered. Dr Tuthill uses a compassionate patient centred approach to help each person and their family understand their illness and receive the very best possible treatment for their cancer. This gives patients the confidence to forward with their lives after a diagnosis of cancer. Whatever the diagnosis and treatment plan, the treatment can be tailored to your work and personal commitments to minimise disruption and restore your quality of life.
