About
Mohamed Otify (MO) is a consultant in gynaecological oncology at Liverpool Women's Hospital and an honorary clinical lecturer at the University of Liverpool.
Dr Otify is RCOG certified subspecialist in gynaecological oncology, and ESGO accredited gynaecological oncology surgeon. He is a Robotic accredited surgeon by the British and Irish Association of Robotic Gynaecological Surgeons (BIARGS).
Dr Otify progressed his training in obstetrics and gynaecology in London, and Edinburgh then completed his subspecialty accreditation at St James’s institute of oncology, Leeds, UK and was appointed at The Liverpool women's hospital as a Consultant Gynaecological Oncology Surgeon. He is active in research, regularly lectures nationally and internationally, and authors different scientific publications.
Dr Otify specialises in
BENIGN GYNAECOLOGY:
Consultation for common gynaecological
conditions, hysteroscopy including endometrial ablation, laparoscopic /
Robotic (key-hole) surgery and open surgery for benign gynaecological
problems.
GYNAECOLOGICAL CANCER SURGERY:
Operations for cancer of the vulva, vagina,
cervix (neck of the womb), uterus (womb), ovaries and fallopian tube.
GYNAECOLOGICAL PRECANCER AND CANCER
DIAGNOSTICS:
Colposcopy and diagnostic hysteroscopy.
gynaecological malignancies, including ovarian, endometrial, cervical and
vulval cancer, particularly Robotic and complex pelvic surgery.
