About

Dr Mohammad Al-Masud had his MBBS in 1988. He obtained LMSSA, LRCP & LRCS by studying at the St Georges’ Medical School in London. He then trained as a GP in Ipswich (Eastern Deanery) from the years 2001-2004.

After completing his training Dr Al-Masud joined The Birches Medical Centre in 2006, and was later appointed as GP Partner in 2007. Dr Al-Masud maintains his NHS Clinics at The Birches Medical Centre, Kesgrave and in Martlesham Heath Surgery.

Other interests

Teaching and Training, Clinical Education. Dr Al-Masud has been heavily involved in teaching undergraduate medical students from Norwich Medical School (University of East Anglia) since 2019, and in 2024 he was also approved as a GP Trainer.

Personal interests

Travel, Cooking and Gardening. He enjoys gardening as a relaxation tool.
