Dr Nicki Bystrzonowski

Nicki Bystrzonowski graduated from the University of London in 2006 and after completing training in General Surgery and becoming a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MRCS) she started her higher Plastic Surgery training on the Pan Thames rotation working in several units in London such as Charing Cross, St Thomas’ and The Royal Free. She has also worked in plastic surgery units in Swansea and Salisbury. In 2018 Nicki gained the Specialist Fellowship in Plastic Surgery (FRCS Plast) and entered the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery in 2020.

She has completed three prestigious fellowships. One cosmetic fellowship at The London Clinic with world renowned Plastic Surgeons gaining invaluable experience in a variety of cosmetic procedures and two microsurgical fellowships.

She currently works as an NHS Consultant Plastic Surgeon at The Royal London Hospital specialising in complex microsurgical reconstruction of the head and neck and lower limb after trauma.

Nicki is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based, individualised treatment to all her patients, ensuring all options are discussed, allowing joint decisions to be made.

In addition, she is actively involved in teaching and training, both in hospital, The Royal College of Surgeons and the Royal Society of Medicine. She undertook two additional degrees, a BSc in Psychology, which has been invaluable in understanding her patient’s needs. Nicki also achieved a Master's degree (MSc) from Imperial College, looking at using technology to aid surgical planning. She has published over 20 papers around Plastic Surgery and continues to stay up-to-date by attending and presenting at National and International conferences.

Her cosmetic practice covers a variety of surgical cosmetic procedures including body contouring, aesthetic breast surgery and eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty).
