Dr Pablo Nenclares

Dr Pablo Nenclares is a London-based consultant clinical oncologist and cancer researcher. His areas of expertise include lower gastrointestinal cancers (including rectal and anal canal malignancies) and head and neck cancers, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, chemotherapy, and personalized cancer medicine. Dr Nenclares studied medicine at the University Complutense of Madrid, and trained in general medicine and oncology in Madrid (Hospital 12 de Octubre) and London (The Royal Marsden Hospital). He obtained a Doctor of Phylosophy degree from the University of London (The Institute of Cancer Research) . He currently practises privately at Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew’s Hospital. Dr Nenclares also plays pivotal roles at St Bartholomew's Hospital Cancer Centre. In addition to his extensive clinical experience, Dr Nenclares has an impressive background in medical and translation research. He is principal investigator of multiple clinical trials at Barts Cancer Centre. He is also Honorary Associate Professor at University College of London in the Department of Targeted Intervention & Interventional Science and an Honorary Researcher at the Institute of Cancer Research. His particular research interest is how radiotherapy and immunotherapy can be made more effective and how to track the immune response to radiotherapy.
