Research

Dr Venugopalan conducted research into the prevalence and spectrum of congenital heart diseases and other related topics. He contributed several cardiology chapters to the on-line EMedicine Text Book of Paediatrics, and several other paediatric and cardiology text books. These include chapters on cardiomyopathy, pulmonary stenosis, pericardial effusion and mitral valve prolapse.
