Rob qualified at Cambridge University school of clinical medicine and has been a GP for 25 years.
He is experienced in all aspects of general practice, including diabetes, respiratory disorders, gastrointestinal complaints and bone and joint disorders, managing childhood illness and mental health problems.
He had further postgraduate training at Papworth and Addenbrookes Hospital followed by a 6-month sabbatical in Canada. He works in four hospital and community-based cardiology clinics. He has special interests in men's health, including prostate and testosterone. He is Director of Cardiovascular GP, the national organisation promoting the management of cardiovascular disease in primary care and lectures nationally on cardiovascular disease.
