About

Dr Chung is an approachable consultant cardiologist with broad general cardiology and over 15 years' medical experience. He sees heart patients with symptoms of chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, dizziness, as well as heart failure, pericarditis and valve disease. He has additional specialist expertise with heart problems in cancer patients before, during, and after cancer treatment ("cardio-oncology"). He studied computer science, engineering and medicine at Berkeley, Warwick, Cambridge and University College London. He has 50 publications including 30 research papers. He is available for private cardiology consultations in West London, Harley Street, and Welbeck (Bond Street) in London. He is consultant cardiologist and cardiac imaging lead at the Whittington NHS Trust and is an honorary consultant at Barts heart centre and University College London Hospital. He also has extensive research and clinical trials experience across seven clinical trials in cardiology and rare orphan disease. He is available to consult at board level for his clinial trial expertise.
