About

Dr Beadle qualified from the University of Queensland, Australia in 1998.  He moved to the UK in 2000 and completed his MRCP training whilst working as a junior doctor in Bath, before moving to the Midlands to train in Cardiology in 2004.  Dr Beadle was awarded a PhD in 2013 for his research, funded by the British Heart Foundation, in to novel treatments for heart failure and has published research in leading journals.

Dr Beadle is a General Cardiologist practicing at South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust, Warwick Hospital. He is trained in all aspects of modern cardiology with a special interest in pacemakers, defibrillators, remote monitoring as well as heart failure and cardiac resynchronisation therapy.

Dr Beadle is a General Cardiologist with experience in all aspects of Cardiology. He has a special interest in heart failure as well as pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronisation therapy.

Personal interests

Dr Beadle enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys restoring and riding classic motorcycles.

Research

Dr Beadle completed a three year research project funded by the British Heart Foundation and the Heart Fund for Wales under the guidance of Professor MP Frenneaux, Regius Professor of Medicine, University of Aberdeen.  He conducted a multicentre randomised controlled trial of Perhexiline in patients with dilated cardiomyopathy with the aims of further describing the drugs effect and mechanism of action. He developed skills and interests in cardiomyopathy, non-invasive imaging including MUGA scans, quantitative assessment of radio nucleotide ventriculography, MRI, and echocardiography.  He has developed a specific interest in magnetic resonance spectroscopy and its application to the heart.  He graduated with a PhD in November 2013.
