Research

Dr Dolly has a strong interest in research and strives to offer patients access to clinical trials where appropriate. She is principle investigator on several National clinical trials. She completed a PhD at the Institute of Cancer Research alongside her training at the Royal Marsden Hospital. She is passionate about early cancer diagnosis and has published on the success of the service. She has been a Clinical Advisor to the National NHS Galleri trial. This study was assessing a multi-cancer early detection test to see if it can diagnose cancer earlier.  Dr Dolly is part of the Guy’s Real-World Evidence group. This is looking at outcomes in patients treated in the real world rather than clinic trials to help establish the effectiveness of cancer treatment. She published many articles on the safe delivery of cancer treatment during the COVID pandemic and has written over 30 articles.
