About

Dr Raouf is a consultant clinical oncologist and clinical director for radiotherapy and gastrointestinal cancers at Barts Health.  He graduated as a doctor in 1986 with an MB BCh degree then went on to become a fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2002 gaining his FRCR title. He has been a consultant for 19 years with extensive Experience in dealing with GI malignancies (colon, oesophagus, stomach, pancreas and anal) as well as head and neck cancers. 

Dr Raouf was previously the lead cancer clinician and divisional director of cancer and clinical support at BHRUT.  He is a member of the SABR Clinical reference group at GenesisCare, he is accredited in using the MR Linac platform as well as Cyberknife for radiotherapy.

Special interests

Dr Raouf has a special interest in treating pancreatic cancers with radiation and well as using novel therapies in treating cancers like immunotherapy.

During his free time, he enjoys football, reading, music and travel.
