About
Dr Boardman is a Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist who did her specialist Endocrinology training at the Oxford Radcliffe Infirmary and Diabetes Research with the University of Oxford's Diabetes Research Laboratories. She currently leads the Acute Medicine team at Grantham and District Hospital where she also runs Diabetes and Endocrinology clinics.
Special interests
Her specialist interests include all aspects of hormonal disorders but particularly thyroid disorders with a large practice of hypothyroid patients who don't do well on Levothyroxine.
Dr Boardman has also got an interest in PCOS and previously won a HSJ award for running a successful service for women with PCOS.
She also has an interest in weight loss management with new treatments in diabetes.
