About

Dr Davison decided on a career in dermatology at an early stage in his training when he was awarded the dermatology prize in his final year at medical school. He graduated with double honours in surgery and pathology from Guy’s Medical School in 1992. His dermatology training was completed at The St John’s Institute of Dermatology St Thomas’s Hospital, St Mary’s Hospital Paddington and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

During his training he undertook two years academic research into the immunopathology of inflammatory skin disease, in particular psoriasis and eczema, and has presented this work at numerous national and international dermatology conferences as well as publishing many articles in scientific journals. He is also the author of two dermatology text books, one a general dermatology text and atlas and the other specifically focusing on psoriasis.

He was appointed dermatology consultant at King George Hospital in 2003, and continue to work as a full time NHS Consultant in addition to private practice.
