About

I have been a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist since 2003. I specialise in assessing and managing complex psychiatric and psychological disorders in children and adolescents. I implement evidence-based, high quality therapeutic interventions. 
 
As Medical Director of Child Psychiatry UK I am responsible for clinical practice within our organisation. Child Psychiatry UK helps young people with mental health and emotional problems. We provide the highest quality, expert delivered, evidence based treatments available. We do so with compassion, care and professionalism.

Special interests

ADHD, anorexia, autism, behavioural disorders, bulimia, CBT, chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, elective mutism, emetophobia, generalised anxiety disorder, health anxiety, headache, insomnia, OCD, panic, phobias, social phobia, tic disorders.

I am an expert media spokesperson for the royal college of psychiatrists.
