About

Dr Behura is a highly experienced GP in all aspects of general practice. She has a particular interest in general well-being, hypertension, diabetes, dermatology, and all aspects of women's health.

She is a trained gynaecologist and sexual health practitioner and is passionate about improving women’s health in the community.

Dr Behura completed her MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in India, followed by her MRCOG and Diploma in Genitourinary Medicine (Dip GUM) in the UK. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners, and an active member of both the British Menopause Society and the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare.

A specialist in perimenopause and menopause care, Dr Behura believes that sharing accurate information and using evidence based medication are key to good health in a woman’s life.

In addition to general practice, Dr Behura works as a Community Gynaecologist across Coventry and Warwickshire, where she treats a wide range of conditions, including:

  • Menstrual disorders
  • Pelvic pain
  • Uterine prolapse (supportive treatment)
  • Contraceptive care (including hormonal and non-hormonal coil fittings)
  • HRT and testosterone replacement
  • Menopause related Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Vulval disorders

She also provides treatment to address weight gain associated with menopause, supporting holistic health and quality of life for her patients.

Dr Behura is also the primary care clinical lead for dermatology.

  • All aspects of peri menopause  and post menopausal care including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
