Dr Tariq Ahmad is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust and Honorary Associate Professor of Gastroenterology at the University of Exeter. Dr Ahmad qualified from Bristol University in 1992 and completed specialist training in gastroenterology in Oxford in 2005. Dr Ahmad has a particular interest and expertise in diagnostic gastroenterology and the management of Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, coeliac disease and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Dr Ahmad undertakes all diagnostic endoscopy himself and works closely with radiological, surgical, and dietician colleagues to ensure prompt investigation and treatment whatever the cause of your symptoms.
