Dr Iqbal is a consultant dermatologist with 20 years of clinical experience. She is the skin cancer lead and the former clinical lead of the dermatology department at Leighton Hospital, part of Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. She also serves as the departmental lead for phototherapy, paediatric dermatology, and clinical training.
Dr Iqbal has extensive experience as a trainer and educator, having worked as an Assistant Professor of Dermatology. In her current role, she supervises junior doctors and provides expert care across the full spectrum of dermatology. She runs paediatric dermatology clinics and has a particular interest in skin surgery and skin cancer detection. She offers treatment for a wide range of conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails.
Dr Iqbal also specialises in tele-dermatology, ensuring remote access to care. She oversees mole checks and the phototherapy service at Leighton Hospital.
She treats common and complex skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin infections, benign tumours, skin cancers, and various skin rashes.
Dr Iqbal is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy skin and overall wellbeing, providing honest advice and comprehensive care.
