About

Miss Henrietta Wilson is a Consultant Adult Thoracic Surgeon. She qualified from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' medical school with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2006. During her medical degree she also achieved an integrated BSc in Psychology. Following medical school she went on to train in Cardiothoracic Surgery in specialist units at the Royal Brompton and Harefield and Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals. She became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Cardiothoracic surgery in 2015.

Miss Wilson’s specialist training has allowed her  to achieve a high level of experience in both minimally invasive and complex open techniques.  

Miss Wilson has learned state of the art surgical treatment for lung cancer, mediastinal tumours, pulmonary metastases and complex thoracic cancers. This includes extensive experience in robotic surgery and in which she trains others in the UK and Europe."

Special interests

Miss Wilson has a particular interest in the management of anterior mediastinal masses and robotic thymectomy for myasthenia gravis. She also specialises in minimally invasive thoracic surgery and can offer patients robotic assisted and VATS lobectomy and segmentectomy for both malignant and benign disease.
