About
Mr Abbad Toma FRCS (ORL) is a Consultant Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) and Facial Plastic Surgeon at Parkside Hospital. He has clinical interests in rhinology, all nose and sinus diseases, endoscopic sinus surgery, rhinoplasty, and pinnaplasty, in addition to general adult and paediatrics ENT. Through close collaboration with Cosmetic Dental Implant surgeons, he is an expert in the management of sinus disease secondary to dental pathology or implant surgery.
He gained specialist training in Rhinology and endoscopic sinus surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, USA and Switzerland and after training with eminent facial plastic surgeons in the UK, he gained further experience in facial plastic surgery in Switzerland and France as a Fellow of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. In 1999 he received full accreditation from the Specialist Advisory Committee in Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and was awarded his Certificate of Completed Surgical Training.
Mr Toma is Lead Clinician for Rhinology and Facial Plastic surgery at Kingston Hospital.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery. He is also a Consultant ENT Surgeon at St George’s and Moorfield’s Eye Hospitals. Mr Toma is Programme Director of the Rhinology Fellowship in Southwest London and Co-Director of the London Endoscopic Sinus Surgery Course.
