About

Andrew qualified in 1998 from the University of Strathclyde with honours in Prosthetics and Orthotics. After a brief spell working in Portsmouth he moved to the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford and is now the Clinical Lead Orthotist of one of the largest orthotic departments in England. In 2012 he obtained an MSc in Applied Biomechanics.  He has lectured on the design of ankle and foot orthoses at regional and national conferences. 

Gait analysis is a specialism having provided orthotic opinion for the Oxford Gait Laboratory and has undertaken training from the European Society for Movement Analysis in Children (ESMAC). Andrew specializes in custom made orthotics that maximizes support yet minimize bulk and encumbrance. He has close links with Orthopaedic, Sports injury and Rheumatology Consultants; Physiotherapists and GPs.
