Lower limb arthroplasty with special interest in the hip, including revisions and resurfacing.

Mr Stephen also has a significant knee interest (in particular knee replacements and arthroscopy work) and is developing 'patient-matched' technology for knee replacements.  He is a keen advocate of enhanced recovery techniques for rehabilitating patients quicker.

Mr Stephen is part of the on-call trauma rota at the Royal Derby Hospital.
