About

Mr Kapur studied medicine at the University of Manchester. He was trained on the nationally renowned Mersey orthopaedic rotation.  

He completed a Major Trauma Fellowship at Liverpool University Hospitals Foundation Trust and a hip and knee primary and revision (re-do) joint replacement fellowship at James Cook University Hospital, South Tees NHS Foundation Trust. This focused on managing patients requiring complex joint replacements as well as failing joint replacements. He also completed the British Orthopaedic Association- Future Leaders Programme.

His current practice consists of the management of patients with conditions. He specialises in hip and joint replacement surgery and revision hip and knee surgery. For suitable patients, Mr Kapur looks to promote enhanced recovery, day case surgery and early supported discharge for his joint replacement patients. hip knee knee

He has presented nationally and internationally regarding hip and knee conditions and his publications reflect this focus. 

Mr Kapur has a keen interest in training and education and has been awarded membership to the Academy of Medical Educators and Faculty of Surgical Trainers. He is also a British Hip Society Mentor.
