About

Mr Fish is a Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat) Consultant based at Addenbrooke's Hospital Cambridge with a special interest in voice and swallowing disorders, salivary gland surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery and sinus surgery. He offers a comprehensive Adult and Paediatric ENT service.

He trained as a registrar in the three University Teaching Hospitals in Liverpool including Alder Hay Children's Hospital before undertaking a prestigious international fellowship at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and Women and Children's Hospital in Brisbane Australia.

Following this he was appointed as Consultant at Addenbrooke's Hospital Cambridge in 2003. He has been a core member of the Head and Neck and Thyroid cancer multidisciplinary teams since appointment and established and continues to run the Voice clinic. He also established and continues to run the one-stop neck lump clinic. He ensured that all thyroid and parathyroid surgery was undertaken by the ENT department and is the highest volume surgeon in the department having performed over a thousand of each procedure.

He has been ENT service lead, clinical, director and remains clinical lead for Head and Neck services.

He is also an Associate Clinical Advisor for the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman.

Personal interests

Mr Fish is married with three children. He is a keen skiier, mountain-biker and windsurfer and enthusiastically plays tennis and golf to a very average standard. He has travelled extensively.
