Mr Blakeway has over 20 years of experience as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Bournemouth, specialising in knees. He regularly performs knee replacements, knee resurfacing and knee revision operations. Working alongside his anaesthetist, Mr Blakeway has a particular interest in safe joint replacement in the elderly. He trained at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, and Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. He went on to be a Harvard Fellow at Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA.
