About

I qualified from Imperial College in 1996, and have been working in gynaecology since 1998. I completed general gynaecological training in the South London region and completed my subspeciality training in Urogynaecology at Imperial College.

I have worked as a consultant since 2010 and established the Department of Urogynaecology and Childbirth Injury at my trust which is a tertiary-level service. I also set up the perineal service for antenatal and postnatal women with pelvic floor disorders.

I am an accredited GMC trainer, and offer fellowships in urogynaecology at my NHS trust, all of my fellows have subsequently taken up consultant urogynaecology posts. I am an accredited appraiser, mentor and represent gynaecology in a surgeon support group. I also participate in the SW London regional multidisciplinary meetings with urology and colorectal specialists.

I am currently the Lead for Gynaecological Services at my NHS trust, I am a member of the SW London gynaecology strategy group and SWL perinatal care strategy group.

Uterovaginal prolapse including recurrent prolapse, Urinary incontinence, Bladder, urethral and vaginal pain, chronic and recurrent urinary tract infections, Childbirth Injury, vaginal and labial reconstruction.
