About
Mr Emeka Oragui is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital specialising in hip replacements, hip arthroscopy and trauma around the hip. He read medicine at Cambridge University and completed his clinical studies at The Royal Free and University College London Medical School. He underwent specialist orthopaedic training in London, followed by advanced fellowship training at St George and Westmead Hospital in Sydney and the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford.
Mr Oragui’s expertise and interests are in hip arthroplasty, hip arthroscopy and complex trauma of the lower limb. His practice includes the minimally invasive Direct Anterior Approach for hip replacement which gives advantages for early recovery. He also performs hip resurfacing for patients aiming to return to sports. He has extensive experience with the use of computer-navigated and robotic surgery. Mr Oragui audits his practice and monitors his outcomes to ensure his patients receive the best available care.
