About
Gareth Hill is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in shoulder and elbow, practising within the NHS at Frimley Park Hospital. In addition to his general orthopaedic and trauma training, he has spent time at Reading, St Mary’s and Guildford. This experience was further complemented by specialist training received on his fellowship at the Perth Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Centre in Australia.
Mr Hill practises both arthroscopic and open shoulder surgery including stabilisation, cuff-repair and both resurfacing and total shoulder arthroplasty. His elbow practice includes soft tissue reconstruction, arthroscopy and elbow replacement arthroplasty. He also practices trauma reconstruction and fracture arthroplasty of both the shoulder and elbow, in addition to routine trauma surgery.
Mr Hill has a particular interest in improving the patient experience and has been recording his clinical results and outcomes for personal audit and improvement, as well as departmental quality assurance and future research projects.
