Mr Guilo Garaffa

Giulio Garaffa is a Locum Consultant Urologist at The Whittington Hospital, London.

After completing with honours his training at the University of Trieste (Italy), Mr Garaffa completed a fellowship in Andrology and Complex Male Genital Reconstruction at the UCLH before being appointed as a substantive Consultant in 2011.

He obtained a PhD in Biotechnologies of Human Reproduction at the University “La Sapienza” in Rome in 2015 discussing a thesis on genetic anomalies in infertile males and obtained Italian recognition as a Full Professor in 2022.

Mr Garaffa is considered internationally one of the experts in andrology and male genital reconstruction and has won several awards for his research.

He has co-authored more than 150 original articles and book chapters.

He has often been invited to perform complex procedures such as live surgery in international masterclasses and is regularly invited to lecture as a visiting professor.
