Other interests

People’s fear of losing their sight is among the top 5 worst fears in life. There is nothing more rewarding than helping patients retain their vision, prevent sight loss and improve the quality of their life.

My patients’ care and treatment is tailored to their needs and medical circumstances. It is a personalised approach and not a generic medical management which most of the time gets the patients puzzled about their treatment and care.

I strongly believe that a well-informed patient with a clear simple explanation and a realistic management plan is more likely to follow medical advice and be reassured about their condition.

Personal interests

I am married and I am the father of 2 boys. Despite the busy workload I try and spend quality time with my family by utilising most of the weekends and annual leave with trips to the countryside and abroad. I enjoy swimming and playing tennis with my sons and wife. We also enjoy outdoor walks and activities.
