About

Mr Murray is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in sports injuries of the knee. Mr Murray is a Consultant at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at The University of Edinburgh.

He trained in Sports Orthopaedics at Stanford University where he served as Assistant Team Physician for the San Francisco 49ers NFL and Stanford Athletics. He is a medical advisor to The European Tour Golf.

He completed Medical training at the University of Edinburgh where he was awarded 1st Class Honours in Sports Science Medicine. While completing Specialist Orthopedic Surgery Training in Edinburgh he gained a PhD in Regenerative Medicine from The University of Edinburgh / University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).

Mr Murray has authored over 100 scientific publications and is regularly invited to speak at national and international meetings on the management of sports knee injuries.
