About
Mr Coode-Bate graduated medicine in 2009, having completed his undergraduate studies at both Southampton University and University College London. His early training in the Wessex Deanery progressed to higher surgical training in the East of England, with broad exposure to all areas of general and sub-specialist urological care.
During an additional period of dedicated research at the Quadram Institute in Norwich, he obtained an MD for his award-winning work investigating the influence of diet on the metabolism and genetics of prostate cancer.
Mr Coode-Bate also has a sub-specialty interest in kidney surgery for both benign and cancerous disease. In addition to obtaining significant experience in robotic surgery at Mid Essex and Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals, he undertook a dedicated one-year post as the Renal Cancer Fellow in Cambridge University Hospital, Addenbrookes.
